Just made it with angel hair spagetti and butter nut squash (pre cooked in the oven first with a drizzel of olive oil). Added a bit of milk and salt and pepper. Yum!

I followed the recipe but omitted the nutmeg. I used Oliviera fresh rainbow tortellini and added cubed smoked ham. Fabulous!

When I made this recipe I got rid of the parmasan and used Gouda. I also added frozed peas while melting the cream cheese and added fresh flat leaf parsley at the end. MM Good!

4.philly and tomatoescreated by Rebecca

hi guys. Try to start with a base of olive oil and garlic, add 1 can of diced tomatoes; after few minutes add your favourite flavour of philly (I like garlic and herbs) let it melt until very creamy little salt and black pepper. toss the pasta into the sauce and... enjoy!!!

6.Easy Creamy PHILLY Spaghettinicreated by Melly

I have made this recipe 2 different ways..#1I added a little more ruffage with garlic, bacon and onion and a few grates of fresh ground white pepper and used ASIAGO for cheese.Mmmm very creamy.#2 The second time I gave it a real kick, made the sauce as called for however, I ommitted the Nutmeg... used "MEZETHRA"cheese (this is a very dry salty Greek goat chesse,,hard to find) and blended in a 1/4 C. of burnt (browned) butter (adds a warm nutty flavor) and of course garlic (sauted in the butter but dont burn the garlic with the butter..add garlic after). this is absolutely wonderful with a dry Merlo and warm crusty bread!!! Enjoy!!! OPA!!!

For something a little different: Try baking 6 chicken thighs in at 350F for 50 mins with just a little salt and pepper sprinkled on top. Cut the top off of a garlic bulb and wrap in foil with top exposed, drizzle a tsp of olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pep and bake in oven over the last 20 mins of cooking time for chicken. Meanwhile, fry about a 1/2 cup cut up bacon, and then sautee onion, red pepper and mushrooms in bacon grease afterwards. Steam oriental cut carrots and broccoli florets about 12 mins. When chicken is done, debone and chop meat coarsely on a cutting board. Mash roasted garlic with a fork and add it to the chicken broth. Make the sauce as directed (although you might want to increase it by half). Cook pasta, drain and combine all above ingredients in a large mixing bowl. This will feed 6 people very well, and it is better than anything I've ever had in a high end pasta eatery (i.e. East Side Mario's, etc.) Excellent for potlucks and dinner parties.

Omit nutmeg and Toss with: 1 thinly sliced unseasoned chicken breast and 1 cup sliced small portobella mushrooms sauteed in 2 Tbsp olive oil and 1/2 tsp crushed garlic. Serve with green salad and crusty bread for a great meal. Goes over big with my family.

You can make this a healtier recipe by using whole wheat pasta, & greatly cut the calories by using spagetti squash, instead of any pasta.
